About the Role

As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our Information Technology across the Nordic and Baltic regions. Your responsibilities will include installation and support of Windows client systems, supporting Windows Server environments, managing, and developing SQL and Power BI applications, and providing support for various hardware and software systems. You will also ensure IT security protocols are followed.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment and contribute to the consolidation and best practices of IT operations in the NBC region. As the IT Support Specialist, you will report directly to Head of Finance and Administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and support Windows Client systems.
  • Provide support for laptops, desktops, printers, and network hardware.
  • Support Windows Server environments.
  • Manage Windows Active Directory (AD) including Users and Computers, Sites and Services.
  • Manage and support databases, including SQL and Power BI.
  • Ensure IT security protocols are followed.
  • Manage SharePoint rights and permissions.
  • Enhance the Nordic & Baltic consolidation and best practices on all levels.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in English.

Relevant Skills:

  • Proficiency in managing Windows Server and Client environments.
  • Strong understanding of Windows Active Directory.
  • Experience with database management, including SQL and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of IT security protocols and best practices.
  • Ability to manage SharePoint rights and permissions.

Meritorious:

  • Experience with Okta.
  • Knowledge of Veronis.
  • Familiarity with Tanium.
  • Experience in multi-cultural companies.
  • An advantage is to know another Nordic language, Estonian, Latvian, or Lithuanian.
