The floating joint series JA (standard) and JAH (heavy duty), can absorb any "off-centering" or "loss of parallel accuracy" between the cylinder and the driven body. Because of this, centering is unnecessary, installation time is drastically reduced, and a high level of machining accuracy is unnecessary.
The JB series floating joint was designed for compact cylinders. JB series is compact and is suitable for high tensile stresses. Long life is established with a dustproof cover and the rotation angle is ±5°.
Floating joint series JS is made of stainless steel and used to increase corrosion resistance. JS uses a dust cover made of fluoro rubber or silicon rubber and is shaped to prevent residual liquid, therefore sealing is improved. Overall length as well as maximum tension and compression are the same as standard series JA.
We are delighted to announce the arrival of the JC Series, a lightweight floating joint to complement our existing range for pneumatic cylinders. A key feature is the JC's aluminium case which offers up to 30% reduction in weight, reducing the inertial forces and lateral loads to actuators whilst operational. The joint is also protected by a dustproof cover, extending its operating life. With a rotating angle of ±5° and allowable eccentricity of ±0.5 to 1mm, the JC is designed to compensate for any misalignment that may occur between the workpiece and the cylinder. This deviation absorption capacity reduces the wear of the cylinders, extending their service time. It can operate at a maximum tensile/compressive force of 3100N for cylinder bore sizes ranging from 20 to 63mm and with thread sizes from M8x1.25 to M18x1.5. The JC Series is ideal for any pneumatic cylinder where the joint needs to absorb off-centring or loss of parallel accuracy between the cylinder and the driven body.
