Russell is a Chartered mechanical engineer and joined the SMC European Technical Centre in 2005, bringing a range of previous industrial knowledge and experiences to the team. Russell’s involvement in a variety of design projects in a very broad range of applications has helped keep his curiosity about engineering fresh, and is enjoying the challenges of Group Leader to help grow and develop his team.
Outside of work Russell self declares as having too many hobbies, and is most commonly found relaxing with miniature painting, boardgames and roleplaying games, when not hiking or running around with his dog walking/training.
