CKZ3

This month sees the launch of our new range of lightweight, aluminium bodied power clamp cylinders, Series CKZ3T. Developed initially for the automotive industry, but suitable for welding applications and environments exposed to sparks from arc or spot welding, Series CKZ3T clamp cylinders, which can be used with a choice of 12 clamp arm options, are up to 39% lighter when compared to our existing Series CKZT range. Available in 50mm and 63mm bore size models and with a comprehensive range of standard opening angles (from as small as 15º) these double acting cylinders are constructed with a rubber bumper on the clamping side thereby decreasing the effects of impact when unclamping. Designed with a rounded top cover, to help reduce the potential build-up of weld spatter, Series CKZ3T can also be specified with either a metal or rubber cover (UL94 standard V0 compliant) as standard. Series CKZ3T cylinders are available with or without cassette type proximity switches (Turck or P&F options) and with single bolt cassette fastening, ensuring quick switch installation and removal.
