Machine builders looking for a small, extremely compact, valve manifold unit for use with air operated 3 Port solenoid valves now have the solution with the launch of SMC´s new Series VV061.Developed initially following Life Science Industry requests and particularly suitable for pilot valve and small actuator and pin cylinder applications, SMC´s R&D engineers have created a fully integrated manifold which incorporates the valves, printed circuit board and fittings in one, single, compact unit.Designed for use with SMC´s 6mm wide V060 valves, in either four or eight valve configurations, the complete unit only measures 38.6mm wide, 31.5mm deep and either 26mm or 38mm high respectively. Weighing only 75grams or 47grams dependant on the selected model the, CE, UL and CSA compliant, VV061 can be ordered with either 2mm one-touch or 4mm barb type fittings.Suitable for either panel or bracket mounting depending on your needs, ease of maintenance is also ensured as the manifold can simply be detached from the piping plate and electrical connector cable. V060 valve options include both standard 0.5W and low consumption power saving 0.23W models which are particularly useful for lengthy continuous applications.

Following Electronic and Semiconductor Industry requests for a compact manifold unit with integral 3-port solenoid valves, we are pleased to launch our new Series VV100 Integrated Manifold Unit. Designed with space-saving and ease-of-use in mind, our R&D engineers have cleverly integrated two single 3-port solenoid valves into each valve station thereby reducing the unit's overall dimension. By adopting this unique feature, VV100 manifold units can now be built up to 146.4mm in length by simply changing the length of the manifold's tie rod and by adding or removing the number of plug-in (D-sub connector) or hard wired valve stations. Energy saving has also been considered as individual valves can be ordered with a power saving circuit, reducing the energy consumption from 0.4W as standard; to only 0.15W when using the continuous duty model. And as each valve can be manually turned off, safe maintenance is guaranteed. Series VV100 is suitable for both direct or bracket mounting and can also accommodate various piping sizes including our miniature 2mm one-touch fittings.

Series S070 is a super compact direct acting 3/2 port solenoid valve that meets the miniaturisation needs of analysers, medical equipment and semiconductor manufacturing equipment. S070 is extremely lightweight (5g for valve single unit type) and operation noise is 38dB(A) or less. It is easy to increase or decrease the number of stations (stacking base). Valve width is 7mm.

VQD1000 series 4 port, direct operated, poppet solenoid valve offers large flow capacity in a compact, lightweight body. Vacuum applications (up to -100kPa) are possible. The VK3000 series is a 5 port solenoid, direct poppet, rubber seal valve. It meets copper free specifications as all parts in contact with fluids are made of non-copper materials. A compact valve (width 18 x length 68mm), the VK3000 is available in a body ported or base mounted style.
