Quick change filter series FQ1 requires no tools for replacement of the element. Element replacement, including removing liquid, can be accomplished in less than 2 minutes. Element sizes include 125mm, 250mm and 500mm. Materials include PP, cotton, SUS304 (epoxy resin) and SUS316 (nickel solder). Other elements are available as made-to-order.
S coupler series KK employs a unique connection method. A slim body design and large effective area are achieved with a construction that does not use steel balls or valve springs and therefore does not restrict the flow path. Together with a reduction of the body size, pressing parts and resin parts are used to achieve an overall weight reduction.
SMC offers a variety of digital flow switches. Series PF2A for air, PF2W for water, PF2D for deionized water and chemicals. Flow rate setting and monitoring are possible with the digital display. Integrated and remote type displays are available for different types of application. Water resistant construction is used conforming to IP65 protection. Switching from real-time flow rate to accumulated flow is possible.
Clean regulator series SRH is a contamination controlled stainless steel regulator designed to minimize residual fluid. Design includes an intake/exhaust port in the diaphragm compartment, which facilitates flow. SRH has outstanding corrosion resistance. All metal parts in contact with fluid use stainless steel SUS316.

The relaunch of the popular VDW series, compact direct operated 2 port solenoid valve, is a good representation of that. VDW´s main feature is its IP65 enclosure, which protects the valve against dust and water sprayed from all directions. Also, with the size one conventional model being 10% smaller and more lightweight, the VDW can be used in narrow spaces, making it extremely flexible. The VDW uses less power, from as little as 2.5W up to 3W in the larger model and apparent power of 2.5VA and 3VA, when compared to similar products. This makes it ideal for dental units, water curtain manufacture and lens polishing processes that use air, medium vacuum and water applications that don't require a large flow.
