SMC announce Foodex Debut Appearance
SMC Corporation (UK) Limited is excited to announce that the organisation will attend the prestigious Foodex Manufacturing Solutions Expo 2025, taking place at the NEC Birmingham from 7th to 9th April.
On stand L20 in hall 7 the UK and global market leader will be exhibiting a selection of automation solutions particularly suitable for the food and beverage industry, giving stakeholders a chance to see some of the solutions that manufacturers the world over rely on to help them move closer to sustainability goals, optimise output and boost profitability.
SMC’s dedicated food and beverage industry experts for the UK, Europe and US will be on hand to listen and advise how OEMs, end users and integrators can benefit from SMC’s 65 years of worldwide experience in solving automation challenges.
Whilst historically SMC has been best-known for compressed air automation components, many of the company’s offering of over 12,000 standard parts and 700,000 variations includes non-pneumatic parts as well as holistic solutions such as the Air Management System, wireless communications and Data Dashboard.
Amongst the solutions on SMC’s stand at Foodex will be:
- Hygienic electric actuators designed for the demanding food industry washdown environment
- A variety of gripping technologies to enable the handling of porous, irregular, or fragile products
- Energy saving solutions that have been successfully integrated in UK food manufacturing sites
