With SMC’s use of topology optimization, which is the methodology of finding the most efficient design for an object on a mathematical and mechanical basis, in the design process, more compact, lightweight products can be realized compared with existing products, resulting in a large reduction in the amount of CO2 emissions during production. In addition, these products can also contribute to energy-saving and CO2 reduction during usage.
Examples of CO2 emission-reduction:
Cableless
Compact and lightweight
Power-saving circuit
Communication cables are not required, which provides advantages as reduced wiring labor, space-saving and minimized disconnection risk.
