Compact Design, Powerful Performance
The ZL1/ZL3/ZL6 series features a three-stage diffuser construction, providing a remarkable 250% increase in suction flow rate compared to single-stage models. Additionally, the ZL3 and ZL6 models offer a maximum suction flow rate of up to 300 and 600 l/min, respectively, catering to various industrial requirements.
Designed to handle workpieces with porous or uneven surfaces, such as cardboard or wooden materials prevalent in the packaging industry, the new multistage ejector from SMC offers unparalleled performance and reliability.
Enhanced Efficiency and Reduced Maintenance
Despite its powerful suction capabilities, the ZL series boasts a lightweight and compact design, reducing the load burden on moving parts of industrial robots. Integration of components such as the three-stage diffuser, vacuum pressure sensor, supply and release valves, filter, and silencer within one unit streamlines machine downsizing and maintenance procedures.
Tools are no longer required for replacing the silencer and air filter in the ZL1 model, reducing maintenance time and inspection efforts. Additionally, the ZL3 and ZL6 models facilitate branch piping with the option of selecting the double port, resulting in further labor savings during installation.

Energy-Saving Features
The ZL1 model achieves a remarkable 10% reduction in air consumption without compromising suction capacity, with a peak vacuum pressure supply of only 0.33 MPa, consuming a mere 57 l/min. The ZL3 and ZL6 models offer the option of a pressure switch with an energy-saving function, reducing air consumption by up to 90% by cutting off supply air when the desired vacuum is reached
IO-Link Compatibility
The ZL3/ZL6 series is equipped with IO-Link compatibility, enabling seamless integration with modern industrial automation systems. This feature enhances data visibility, remote monitoring, and configuration flexibility, providing users with enhanced control and optimisation capabilities.
