What is the selection criteria for ejectors or pads?

What is the replacement period for vacuum pads? Also, what pad materials are available and what are their applications?

Care must be taken with regard to the degradation of the vacuum pads (rubber). However, it is difficult to say when vacuum pad (rubber) replacement will be needed because the replacement period is greatly affected by the usage conditions. Consider the actual conditions in order to determine the replacement period.
When a vacuum pad is used, the suction surface will wear and the pad will gradually grow smaller. The reduction in the pad size also affects the lifting force, even though suction is still possible.
