SMC showcases the right tools for the best performance at EMO 2017
EMO 2017
18 - 23 September 2017
Hannover Exhibition Centre
Hall 6, Stand H66
SMC, a global leader in pneumatic and electrical automation technology, will be taking a step into the future as it reveals its tool box of solutions for operators working towards Industry 4.0 at this year’s EMO.
The exhibition, taking place in Hannover from 19 to 23 September, is the world's leading trade fair for the machine tool industry. From stand H66 in Hall 6, visitors will have the opportunity to view a range of solutions from SMC that will help manufacturers increase productivity, flexibility and operating efficiencies.
All the products on display, from pressure switches to air catch sensors and pilot check valves, are ISO 13849 compliant meeting the highest safety standards and within the scope of Industry 4.0, are designed to support preventative maintenance.
A spokesperson from SMC said: “EMO is the most important exhibition of its kind for the machine tooling sector, and we are delighted to once again have a presence. We look forward to welcoming people to our stand and demonstrating how SMC works together with our customers to achieve optimum machine safety and drive machine efficiency and process stability based on the principles of predictive maintenance.”
Product highlights on display include SMC’s latest addition to the monitor market, the PSE300AC, which simplifies the remote monitoring of different types of sensors being used on the factory floor. Thanks to the display colours and screen layout, the PSE300AC allows three different items to be watched at the same time, enabling operators to view the status of applications at a glance.
It will be joined by the ISA3 air catch sensor that offers quick verification of the placement of the workpiece by visual inspection and easy entry of the switchpoint value, with a tenfold increase in condensate resistance.
Finally, the XT34-303 pilot check valve with direct monitoring is designed for control systems geared towards security according to ISO 13849 standard. It features secure stopping up to category 4, as well as the possibility of quick and simple retrofitting for the entire system.
Visitors to SMC’s stand H66 in Hall 6 will be welcomed by a team of experts who will be on hand to offer professional advice and support. And to top off a busy exhibition day on Wednesday 20 September, SMC will be hosting its ‘Get Together Party’ from 17:00, offering delegates a tasty selection of snacks and drinks before they head home.
